Are you a fan of the trilogy of He Lord of the Rings? Well, you're in luck, because Amazon finally obtained the rights to produce a series based on the mythical series created by J.R.R Tolkien.
After throwing shots with Netflix to see who was left with the rights, Amazon emerged victorious and announced it in an official statement from Amazon where they offer the first details about this production.
“The Lord of the Rings is a cultural phenomenon that has captivated the imagination of entire generations of fans through literature and the big screen. We are honored to work with the Tolkien Estate and Trust, HarperCollins and New Line in this exciting television collaboration, and we are delighted to take The Lord of the Rings fans on a new epic journey in Middle-earth, ”commented the E-commerce site in the statement.
And what will be seen in the series?
Mainly they will be stories that precede the origin of The Fellowship of the Ring, as well as the creation of several spin-offs that will take advantage of the immense universe created by Tolkien.
The series (as expected) will be exclusive to Amazon Prime Video, the subscription service type Netflix that you must hire now to see this fantastic series.
